I have shared photos from Tessie and Chad’s elopement day in Moab, Utah literally everywhere. You can imagine my shock when I realized that I haven’t actually written a post dedicated to their day! So, after almost a year, here is the beautiful elopement day of Tessie and Chad in Moab, Utah!
Tessie and Chad came all the way from Louisiana to the small town of Moab, Utah for their adventure elopement. They started their day by getting ready in separate tents at ULUM Resort, about 25 minutes outside of downtown Moab. ULUM is a glamping resort that is the perfect combination of adventure and luxury.
Tessie spent the morning being pampered with having her hair and makeup done by the very talented Lesley with Lesley Lind Makeup Atelier. While getting ready, Tessie’s beautiful bouquet from Farm Yard Moab came! Then Tessie got into her stunning Galia Lahav dress and we took some photos outside of the tent.
Once Tessie was ready, we headed over to the main building where Chad was waiting for their first look! Chad turned away while Tessie came up from behind to surprise each other in their stunning wedding attire. Not only did Tessie look stunning, but Chad also looked super sharp in his tan suit and Brackish feather bowtie!
After their first look, Chad helped Tessie into her hiking boots and we set off to the Looking Glass Arch for their ceremony! They said their vows under the arch and then in true adventure form, climbed to the top for some epic views and photos.
We then headed into town for our private tour of Arches National Park with Moab Adventure Center, where our tour guide told us many interesting fact about the park that I didn’t even know (and I’ve been going to Arches for 8 years now). We also got to stop at some of the iconic spots within the park and take some photos with the beautiful scenery in their wedding attire!
Once we were done with the park tour, we headed over to Canyon Pizza Co. for the best mid-elopement lunch we could have asked for. Seriously, pizza on your elopement day can’t be beat!
After lunch, we headed to Castle Valley for some photos before going to Moab Horses where Lesley met up with us to give Tessie a refresh and new hairstyle for our evening horseback riding adventure! Then it was time to go on our horseback riding adventure! Our guide was so kind, attentive, and easy going, which made this adventure that much more enjoyable. We road through scenes that looked straight out of an old western film. It started to lightly rain, but even that couldn’t get us down! Plus, it created the most beautiful sunset and there was even a rainbow that came out!! It was seriously a dream!
Once it was getting dark, we returned to the stables and headed back to ULUM where Tessie and Chad ended their elopement day by cutting their wedding cake and sharing it with all of the other guests! It was so fun and the day couldn’t have ended in a better way. Tessie and Chad were amazing to work with and their horseback riding Moab elopement is one I will never forget!
