It is a little more expensive, but can be worth it so you don’t have to make time in your trip to go do it before your elopement. But if you do choose to do the marriage license in person, you can go the day of your elopement in the state of Utah to obtain your marriage license.

Officiant Fees

In Utah, you have the option to have a friend or family member officiate your wedding ceremony, or you can hire a professional officiant. Officiant fees can vary depending on their experience, travel requirements, and any additional services they offer. On average, expect to pay between $100 to $500 for an officiant in Utah.
